The Rilla Mining Company owned mines at Breckenridge, Colorado (Summit County), on the north slope of North Star Mountain (about eight miles south of Breckenridge), within the Bay State Mining District. Rilla Mining owned the Bay State group of thirteen claims on 65 acres that produced copper, silver and gold. The company was a reorganization of the O’Reilly Gold Mining Company in 1915. The company developed four separate tunnels, the longest being 1,300 feet.
