    The Ruby Copper Company was owned the Lee Group of 9 claims in Santa Cruz County, located 10 miles north of Patagonia, Arizona. Main minerals were chalcopyrite and copper glance, producing copper and silver. The mine had a 400' shaft. The term ruby copper probably refers to cuprite. (Mines Hndbk, 1914, p.772)
