PARROT SILVER AND COPPER
COMPANY
stock certificate.
Issued May 2, 1906
in the amount of 100 shares of capitol stock at .00 per share. This is certificate #A9 issued to F.H. Prince Company signed by the president and secretary.  Mine was discovered in 1864 in Butte District Montana. The certificate is 8 1/4" X 11 3/4". Very good. During the period of primary production from 1884 to 1910 almost 300 million pounds of copper was extracted from the Parrot Mine. The company became part of Amalgamated (William Rockefeller of Standard Oil) in 1999.
