RECIPES USING BEESWAX PASTILLES
CREAMY LIP BALM
Melt 1 oz of
Beeswax
and 1 oz Mango Butter in a double boiler on low heat
Once melted remove from the heat and add 2 oz apricot oil, 1 tsp castor oil, 1 tsp red edible glitter (optional) and stir together
Pour in lip balm containers and place in the fridge until cooled and to the desired consistency.
Remove and seal with lids.
CALENDULA HEALING SALVE
Put 2 cups of dry calendula ower in a tall glass jar and pour 6 oz of Jojoba Oil over them
Then place the jar in a double boiler at low heat for 4 hours. Stirring occasionally.
Using a strainer or coffee filter, filter the flowers our of the oil (you can throw away the owers).
In a separate double boiler, gently melt the 1 oz of
Beeswax
and 1 oz of Shea Butter, slowly add the infused jojoba oil until everything is melted and mixed.
Quickly pour into your final containers and put them in the fridge until hard and ready to use.
ROSEMARY + SAGE BEARD BALM
In a double boiler, combine 2 tsp of Jojoba Oil, 2 tsp of
Beeswax
and 1 tsp of Shea Butter and melt together over low heat.
Remove from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes
Then add 10 drops of rosemary essential oil and 10 drops of sage essential oil and stir to combine.
Fill up small tins or jars with the mixture and place in the fridge until solidified and ready for use.
