    Vintage USA Made Baldwin Polished Brass Key Plate Escutcheon 2” x 1 ¼” #5754-003
    This listing is for one (1) vintage Baldwin Hardware key plate sealed in the original package.
    The solid polished brass escutcheon measures 2” tall by 1 ¼” wide and comes with two (2) matching 5/8” screws.
    Long ago discontinued by the manufacturer, these brass keyplates are shown on the vintage master carton as part No. 1342 with a reorder number of 0560, made in Reading, PA.
    They have since been replaced with Baldwin Model # 5754.003, made in China, with a list price of .
    This new old stock comes from a retired local locksmith.
    The solid brass key plates were manufactured in Reading Pennsylvania before Black & Decker purchased Baldwin Hardware and moved the operations to Mexico and China in 2011.
    Long since discontinued by Baldwin, these would appear to have been manufactured prior to the mid-1960’s.
    Comparable Baldwin Hardware pieces now made in China retail for about .
    Rarely do these American made brass pieces come to market in brand new condition.
