Listed here is a USED Mercury or Mercruiser Clutch Dog Cross Pin and Retaining Spring.  These are Genuine OEM Mercury / Mercruiser parts NOT cheap Chinese aftermarket knock offs.  Has some very minor wear marks and staining from normal operation.  Parts are all fully functional.   Overall wear is very minimal.  The part number for the Clutch Dog is 52-853594T and was superseded from 52-853594 (which is cast into the part itself indicating it is OEM) and lists for 0.017 new from Mercury / Mercruiser.  The Cross Pin part number is 17-8M0100263 which supersedes from 17-30632 and lists for .70 new at the dealer.  The Retaining Springs part number is 24-30893 and lists for .20 new.  These are the parts that shift the gear case from forward to neutral to reverse.  They were used on many of the Mercury and Mariner lower units from the 1990s well into the 2000s.  Was also used on the alpha out drives for the I/O configuration for decades.  This one came from a 2014 Alpha One Gen Two that lived its entire life on a freshwater Orlando chain of lakes and has never seen salt water.  The parts you see pictured are the actual parts you will receive with nothing extra.  If you have any questions or need help with compatibility please feel free to contact me and I will help you to the best of my abilities.  Thank you for your interest.  Steve MMSLLC :)
