MERCRUISER BRAVO III STERN DRIVE LOWER UNIT GEAR, 27T 43-824491
This gear was removed from a 2001 BRAVO III lower unit which collided with a rock and suffered a split case.
The face of the teeth show some spauling (pitted) from wear, but are certainly usable in an older drive.    Note the small chip in surface next to the spline hole. See pictures.
The attached bearing appears to be in reasonable shape.   I do not see any evidence of pitting in the outer race, or the rollers.  Obviously I cannot see the inner race.  Curiously, there is NO bearing manufacturer name, or bearing number on the outer race.
