Description

Listed here is a NEW Mercruiser Bell Housing Bushing Kit.  This is a Genuine OEM Mercruiser / Quicksilver part NOT a cheap Chinese aftermarket replacement.  The part number for this kit is 23-805041A 2 or 23-805041A2.  This is the part that seals/aligns the shift shaft in the bell housing and prevents water from the exhaust from entering the U joint bellows.  These were used on the Alpha One Gen One platforms that ranged from the early 1980s to about 1990 (depending on where your boat was on the assembly line). IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THE ALPHA I GEN II.  Kit includes one brass shift shaft bushing, one brass shift shaft seal assembly and instructions.  The kit you see pictured is the kit you will receive with nothing extra.  Also have another with pictures coming soon but can be provided if requested.  Both have been stored in climate controlled parts rooms and picture of seal is provided to show there is no dry rot.  If you have any questions or need help with compatibility please feel free to contact me before purchasing and I will help you to the best of my abilities.  Thank you for your interest.  Steve MMSLLC :)
