MERCRUISER ALPHA ONE GEN ONE TOP COVER AND SCREWS 94998A4 10-98794

Description

Listed here is a USED Mercruiser Alpha One Generation One Gear Case Top Cover along with Mounting Screws.  Also includes race shim.  These are all Genuine OEM Mercruiser parts NOT cheap Chinese aftermarket replacements.  Cover has paint loss and some dings but is fully operational.  DOES NOT come with bearing or race.  The part number for the cover is 94998A4 or 94998A 4 and lists for 6.92 from dealer.  The number 94997C-1 is cast into the cap.  The four mounting bolts part number is 10-98794 and supersedes to part # 10-8M0113180 and list for .50 each new from the dealer.  I do not know the thickness of shim or part number.  This is the cover that houses the upper bearing/race on the Alpha I Gen I gearcases from the early 1980s until about 1989.  WILL NOT WORK ON THE GENERATION II OUTDRIVES.  These parts came from a 1984 gear case.  The parts you see pictured are the actual parts you will receive with nothing extra.  If you have any questions or need help with compatibility please feel free to contact me before purchasing and I will help you to the best of my abilities.  Thank you for your interest.  Steve MMSLLC :)
