    Incorporated under the laws of the State of Colorado in 1892. This cancelled stock certificate #1562 was issued for 100 shares of stock and issued on September, 1894 to Edward Wessel and signed on reverse. 7 1/2"  X 11 1/4". Very good condition.
    Suitable for framing or just to collect as a piece of early American mining history. J.J. Hagerman owned the Molly Gibson Silver Mine in Aspen and also the Buena Vista Mine in Cripple Creek. He purchased 22 adjoining properties there and formed the Isabella Gold Mining Company in 1892 "on the 400th Anniversary of Christopher Columbus' visit to these shores". Very rare and collectable.
