Helio Castroneves 2001 Indianapolis 500 Michael Savage Designs Indy Car Penske. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS First Class.
"Time to Kiss The Girls" is the name of the print and the dimensions are 20" x 26". Helio just made history as the fourth four-time Indy 500 winner and is a big fan favorite after winning races in multiple decades along with his Dancing with the Stars mirror ball trophy in the old trophy case.
This painting is of Helio’s trademark fence climbing celebration. This earned his the nickname Spider-Man! As a CART regular, this Indy 500 rookie, got several single fingered salutes from the pro-IRL fans. Twenty years later, all fans were cheering as they stayed around to share in one of the most memorable victory celebrations ever.
You will notice the distinctive Marlboro Team Penske paint job without the tobacco giant’s brand name. This was due to a legal ruling after advertising for cigarettes had been tightened about three years previous.
This auction is for the unframed print 105 of 275 (picture #1). I also have print 34 of 275 in a custom frame (picture #2), the framed #34 print is an upgrade option for the winner. If the winner wants 34 in the frame, a 0 premium will be added as the frame, custom boxing, and shipping is considerably more than a rolled print in a tube.
I am an Indy collector but selling off my duplicates and
