Our Carnauba wax is 100% pure, premium grade. It is obtained from the leaves of
a Brazilian palm tree (Copernicia Prunifera) known as the “Tree of Life.”
Carnauba wax is the hardest natural wax available. It is a wonderful ingredient
to use in vegan cosmetics in the place of beeswax. Commonly used in making
lipsticks and lip balms, it may also be used as an ingredient in salves and

FAVORITE WAYS TO USE CARNAUBA WAX INGREDIENT FOR VEGAN SKIN CARE Carnauba wax
is a wonderful ingredient to use in natural cosmetics. It is extremely durable,
and dries to a glossy finish. Commonly found in lipsticks and lip balms, it may
also be used in salves, balms, and in any recipe where beeswax is called for.
To use Carnauba wax in your recipe, it must be heated to a higher melting point
than beeswax. It requires a temperature of 180-185 degrees in order to melt.
Please note that Carnauba wax is harder than beeswax, and this must be taken
into consideration when incorporating it into your recipes. INGREDIENT FOR
VEHICLE WAX Carnauba wax produces a glossy finish which makes it an ideal
ingredient in automobile and boat waxes, especially combined with beeswax. In
the 1960s, pure Carnauba wax was used as a coating on speedboats in particular
to increase speed and handling. INGREDIENT FOR WOOD WAX Carnauba wax can be
used to finish wood products, but is usually used to complement other oil
finishes or shellac, which it can be applied over after it has cured
completely. The main benefits of Carnauba wax are it can be buffed to provide a
fine shine, can be applied easily, is forgiving in application and is non-toxic
