DESCRIPTION
Book of 107 unissued stock certificates. Book is 8 ½ x 15 ¼, checks are 8 x 10 1/2 (without stub);  ca. 1880s. Incorporated in Illinois. I believe this is the Ocean Wave Silver Mine which was as located in Colorado in the Hard Scrabble District in Custer County. It operated in the 1880s and 1890s. Three nice vignettes of mining operations. Binding exhibits wear with torn back cover, stocks are unissued, and in  mint condition
(see scan).
