    Description

    Antique cast iron flag pole stand / holder dated 1883. It could be 1888, but sure it’s 1883, Marked WRC for the Women's Relief Corps which was the women's auxiliary to the Grand Army of the Republic - GAR. They stood for Charity, Fraternity, and Loyalty. Stand has claw feet, has lots of patina, but is a solid piece. This is an original antique, not a reproduction. Overall it is in very clean condition for it's age.
