Rick Mears Indianapolis 500 ticket stubs and Rick Mears Pennzoil PC 16
by American Plastic Toys . I was there for the 89' race that stub was mine originally and the earlier 85' stub I picked up a while back second hand, both in really good condition. Pennzoil PC 16 Rick Mears Special no.l Indianapolis CART PPG Lola is from the American Made Toy Co. I am pretty sure dates to 86' from the numbers on the bottom. I have had it close to 20 years now, picked up second hand at a sale somewhere. It is in good condition, looks really good, but has some very fine scratches on the body. These fine scratch lines go pretty much un-noticed until the glare of a light reflects off the car. Must have been a kids toy for a couple years before I got it. The scratches could probably be rubbed out but they are not that noticeable until right under some light from a foot or two. I did make a repair to the front wing at the nose connection. On both sides it was cracked when I got it, never completely separated from the car.  The repair has held complete on both, retired the toy at time of purchase, only seen as a display.
This car is hard to find, getting old maybe, limited production maybe, I really don't know? I do know it is a PC 16 and it's got Rick's name on it and that makes it officially
