    Up for sale is this, "National Lead Company" Stock certificate dated 1892. Has real signatures of the president, Treasurer and secretary. I don't know who the president was of this New York stock exchange huge corporation in 1892 to 1917. Made out for 2 shares of preferred stock. In pencil on the edge it reads, "TRANSFERRED FROM THIS NAME FEB 20 1917". Incorporated in the State of New Jersey. PREFERRED STOCK 0.00 A SHARE. Condition is very good used. Printer: International Bank Note Company.  RARE I ASSUME as the company was formed Dec. 1891 by a group of mining company executives. I'm  not a rare stock certificate expert. Later had Dutch Boy Paints character on stock. Big trouble from selling lead paint for years.The National Lead Co. was one of the 12 original stocks included in the Dow Jones Industrial Average at the time of its creation on May 26, 1896.   SEE PHOTOS.
