There are six pin holes on the left hand side, the top left corner is rounded, the top right corner has a slight wrinkle, and the right side is soiled (you can tell how the stock was probably flipped like a book page, counted, etc. (hand oils probably). The paper is crisp and odor-free. The embossed stamp is visible and can be felt.
This stock is extremely well suited for framing. The stock measures 4" x 9 ⅛"
The Quintero Mining Company was located in Nye County Nevada.
Although Nevada became a US State in 1864, may companies, like Quintero, incorporated in San Francisco.
The company incorporation date is on the top center of the stock: Dec 11th,1873.
